March 6-7, 2026 Shasta College rode dominant pitching and a relentless offense to sweep a three-game road series from College of the Redwoods in Eureka, outscoring the Corsairs 39–10 to stay firmly in second place in Golden Valley Conference play at 6–1.
Shasta College baseball opened Golden Valley Conference play with a dominant home sweep of College of the Siskiyous, shutting out the Eagles 6–0 on Friday before capping the weekend with a 12–6 victory on Saturday in Redding. The Knights combined strong starting pitching with timely extra-base hitting and aggressive baserunning to take full control of the first conference series of the year.
Shasta College let a three run lead slip away late and fell 7–5 to visiting Yuba on Tuesday afternoon, despite a spirited midgame surge and an aggressive day on the bases from the Knights.
Shasta College Baseball followed up its first win of the season yesterday at Cabrillo with a dominant 15–1 road victory over San Francisco on Saturday at Skyline College, completing an emphatic two-day statement and bringing their overall record to 2-3.
Shasta College Baseball broke through for its first win of the season on Friday afternoon, knocking off Cabrillo 6–2 at neutral-site Skyline College to move to 1–3 on the year.
