VIETTI EIGHTH AT GVC CHAMPIONSHIPS

BUTTE, Calif. – Shasta College freshman Harrison Vietti finished eighth at the Golden Valley Conference Cross-Country championships on Friday at Butte College.

Vietti, a freshman from Red Bluff, completed the 4-mile course in 23 minutes, 48.6 seconds for an average mile of 5:57.2.

Joshua Guske, a freshman from Redding, took 16th overall in the race, finishing in 29:14.6 for an average mile of 7:18.7.
