SHASTA VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS BUTTE!!

In an exciting volleyball match on November 15, 2024, Shasta College defeated Butte in a thrilling 4-set game. The final score was 25-18, 15-25, 22-25, 23-25 in favor of Shasta.

Shasta put on an impressive performance with a total of 52 kills and a hitting percentage of .317. Madelyn Frick led the team with 23 kills, while Emerie Brown and Shelbie Rogers also contributed significantly with 9 and 10 kills respectively. Shawnee Church stood out as the team's setter, tallying 48 assists throughout the match.

On the other side, Butte fought hard with a total of 46 kills and a hitting percentage of .170. Koya Porter led the team with 12 kills, closely followed by Karsyn Gwinnup with 10 kills. Kaitlyn Poblano made a notable contribution with 18 assists.

Despite Butte's efforts, Shasta's strong offense and precise plays led them to victory. The team's solid blocking and serving performances also played a crucial role in securing the win.
