Bio
Assistant Coach Riley Wallen was born and raised in Redding, California. She played basketball all four years of attendance at Foothill High School before joining Shasta College's Lady Knights Basketball Team. She developed her skills during her basketball journey here at Shasta College under the leadership of Coach Brown (2019-2020) and Coach Mizuta (2021-2022), earning All-Conference honors in her final season. Riley then played at Simpson University on an athletic scholarship and graduated in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science.
As Shasta College's Lady Knights Assistant Basketball Coach, Riley leads the team’s strength program, helping athletes build confidence and resilience. She is so grateful to be back in the program that shaped her as a player and now as a coach.
