THREE KNIGHTS EARN WINS AT BUTTE MEET

MARYSVILLE, Calif. – Shasta College totaled three event wins at the Butte 4-Hour meet with Anthony McFall taking the lone event for the men and Abigail Moore and Reese Adams both earning victories for the women.

MEN
For the men, Shasta finished fourth with 64 points, following Chico State (284 points), San Joaquin Delta (121.5 points) and Butte (100.5 points), respectively.

100: Anthony McFall won in 10.91 seconds. Jordan Hall was 25th (11.84), Jonathan Simon was 32nd (11.97).

200: McFall was fifth (22.58), Simon was 31st (23.88), Hall was 33rd (24.01).

400: Brandon Berens was 11th (54.71), Lester Burks was 18th (59.17).

800: Andre Aflague was 10th (2:14.96).

1,500: Harrison Vietti was eighth (4:36.86).

110 hurdles: Caden Rowe was fifth (16.61).

400 hurdles: Rowe was fourth (59.76), Kyle Carter was seventh (1:04.84).

4x100 Relay: Shasta's team of Hall, McFall, Simon and Rowe was eighth (43.94).

4x400 Relay: Shasta's team of Burks, Berens, Carter and Vietti was fifth (3:41.68).

High Jump: Edwin Zepeda was sixth with a jump of 5 feet, 10.75 inches.

Pole Vault: Isiah Sherman was fourth (11-5.75), Aflague was sixth (10-0).

Triple jump: Zepeda was sixth (36-8.25).

Shot put: Gavin Skerik was second (46-0), Chase Barnes was 15th (38-4.25).

Discus: Skerik was sixth (126-4), Barnes was 19th (103-6), Layton Dunlap was 21st (101-2), Judah Werner was 26th (87-6).

Hammer: Skerik was 14th (101-11), Barnes was 15th (100-3), Werner was 16th (99-10).

Javelin: Dunlap was eighth (132-0), Barnes was ninth (131-8).

WOMEN
Shasta was sixth with 43 points, following Chico State (118.5),Redwoods (93), Sacramento (76), Butte (62) and San Joaquin Delta (62), respectively.

100: Abagail Moore won in 12.67 seconds. Reese Adams was sixth (13.39).

200: Moore was fourth (26.49).

Pole Vault: Sarah Peters was fifth (8-0).

Long Jump: Adams won with a jump of 15-11.

Shot put: Ashley Hansen was 11th (27-4.75), Brooke Vaughan was 17th (23-4.75).
