She will be remembered as a true "captain" due to her constant efforts to make the team, and softball program overall better. Although Macey is known for being extremely hard on herself, she is always the first one to lift her teammates up, be supportive, and assist in conquering the next feat. Her legacy will not be just what she did on the field, but the amazing teammate she is and the relationships she's made on the court and the field. She has made friendships that will last a lifetime and that helped make doing what she loves to do that much better. Macey is a natural leader and works hard to make her team better every day. Her passion and drive are evident and will prove to be an invaluable asset to her moving forward towards her career.
Macey's biggest inspiration is her mom and dad, and she wants to acknowledge how grateful she is for them teaching her to work hard for her dreams and goals and to never give up no matter what. She will be graduating from Shasta College with degrees in Allied Health, Psychology, and Physical Education, with the goal to become a specialized nurse. She would leave you with this: "You can do whatever you set your heart on; don't let fear hold you back - swing for the fence!"
