Bio
Coach Garcia’s passion of Soccer has been a life-long journey. He played for the Stockton Cougars on a competitive travel team, which laid the foundation for his love of the game. He continued his journey at Tokay High School in Lodi, where he honed and increased his skills. After high school Coach attended Delta College, where he further developed his game while earning an athletic, scholastic, and religious scholarship to Simpson University.
At Simpson University, Coach Garcia excelled on the field, and also met his beautiful wife, Ana Christina Garcia, his biggest supporter since. Coach’s faith played an equally important role; encountering God through Jesus Christ at 19, led him to pursue a spiritual education attending Bethel School of Ministry. As his faith grew so did his soccer success. Coach Garcia’s soccer journey progressed, as did his skills playing at higher levels, providing him the opportunity to play semi-professionally for the Manteca Football Club and the Redding Royals.
When not coaching, you can find Coach playing pick-up games or competing in organized leagues around Redding. From Pitch to pew, Coach’s journey has been fueled by love for soccer and a deep faith that guides him daily.
