Bio
Coach Jim Schuette is the linebackers coach for the Shasta College Knights and has more than 20 years of coaching experience. He coached football at Central Valley High School and Foothill High School, where he served as defensive coordinator and helped lead the team to an undefeated season and its only CIF title. He has also coached baseball at various levels.
Schuette is a graduate of Enterprise High School and Shasta College, where he played football, and transferred to Chico State University. Outside of coaching, Jim is a probation officer and school resource officer at Central Valley High School. He and his wife, Kerri, have been married for over 20 years, and they have three children: Madeline, who is studying exercise physiology at Chico State University, and Eric and Zachary, who are student-athletes at Shasta High School.
